Customer Review of QuickBooks Pro 2008
Horrendous Support
While I'm pretty happy with Quickbook's pro software, Intuit has possibly the worst customer service on the planet. Just trying to register the software with them took about an hour. They outsource all their calls to India, and their reps have absolutely no idea what they're doing, and hardly speak any english.

Not as user friendly as expected
Very disappointing. Assumes prior proficiency in accounting. Not that great for the first time new business owner. Navigation is not as easy as I had hoped. Setting up customers and calculations for commission payments is a practice of trial and error. The help topics steer you to modules that are to be purchased separately but does not warn you until you have already clicked the link for more details. I have been constantly redirected to the website to purchase other modules. You'd think for this price it would be all inclusive. All things considered, it would have been more simple and cost effective for me to build what I need in an MS Access application.

Quick books software
This product was received promptly and in good shape. It isn't the easy, quick way to keep up with my small business accounting. You have to go in and out of record areas; sometimes the record will show positive or negative and doesn't show a clear reason why it appears the 'wrong' way. I have paid in cash previously for most of my office expense, that seems to show those figures as extra income, instead of a deduction. <
