This appealing blender looks great, with a rounded triangular shape that marries form and function. It pours perfectly and cleans beautifully, but what we noticed first was the terrific grip on the handle: firm and comfortable, like a great handshake. The lid is also well designed, sealing easily and snugly, with tiny rubber tips attached on three sides to facilitate a smooth release and opening. This blender packs a lot of power, puréeing in seconds and turning eggs and oil into mayonnaise in fewer than two minutes. Five speeds let you whip up everything from chunky salsa to velvety soups; there's also a pulse mode when you need an extra surge to add solids or give something one last stir. Customer Review of Braun MX2050 PowerMax Jug Blender
 It Broke Twice
I experienced broken teeth on the bottom of the jar first, for which I got a free replacement. Today the plastic disk on the blender that the drive shaft spins broke as well, and it is obvious that this repair would require servicing. The blender worked great, but then it broke twice. The cheap plastic parts are definitely not up to the task of chopping frozen items for very long.
 Excellent Blender
Excellent blender for the money. It blends smooth and is exceptionally quieter than the two previous blender I have used. Cleanup is easy. Very pleased will get another if this one wears out.
Died just after warranty expired
This blender worked fine until I owned it for 14 months. Then it suddenly died. No warning at all. I did not use it all that much, either. I won't buy this brand again.
