 great fun! they really DO taste like the names!
I shared my Bertie Botts with family last weekend and it was a hoot. I was too scared to try anything except bacon & pepper at first (bacon is just like smoky meat, and pepper is exactly like real pepper!), but then I tried soap, which is almost pleasing, and grass, which is delicious!...then earwax, which to me tastes like eggnog!....booger (not bad!)....and dirt really does taste like a handful of potting soil. I ended up trying everything except vomit & rotten egg--I just will not go there....2 of my relatives tried vomit, and said it does taste like acid--the acid comes in little "bursts." But the real killer, that only one person tried, is rotten egg---she said it was absolutely horrid and she could not swallow it! Very sulfurous!!! I would like to know where the spinach, spaghetti, and sardine beans are??? and I hope that Jelly Belly will continue to add flavors to their Bertie Botts collection because there are a LOT more to go! Great fun!!!

The soap-flavored jelly bean tastes like actual soap...the grass-flaoverod jelly bean tastes like actual grass...and yes, the vomit-floverd jelly bean DOSE taste like REAL vomit! Probably one of the few times you can believe the marketing men about the taste of the product they're selling! These "beans" are a LOT of fun, but don't blame me if a "bad" taste lingers!

As usual, Jelly Belly did a great job flavoring the jelly beans. It is probably just me, but most of these Nasty flavors aren't as bad as I thought they were. But the worst one by far is the Rotten Egg flavor, it even smells bad when you break into it. The Vomit flavor isn't pleasant, but not too bad. You'll have alot of fun with these, they seem pricy with shipping, but it's worth it!
